Survivor: Week 6

The Episode

Abbreviated recap tonight due to Halloween preparations!

Here's what you need to know...


The Expected:
Crystal was antagonistic again
Kota won reward again
Sugar went to Exile again
Matty was swayed by Ace's arguments again
Kota won immunity again
Ken got closer to looking like a skeleton again
Fang went to tribal council again
Fang was hopelessly disjointed again

The Unexpected:

Both tribes had to vote someone out, sending Kota to tribal council for only the second time.

Kenny got off his ass and made a move by lying to Sugar, telling her that Ace was plotting against her.

Sugar back stabbed Ace, joining with Ken and Crystal to vote him off (and leaving Matty out in the cold).

Corinne, Marcus, and Charlie told Randy that he is the secret fourth in their alliance, which, if true, leaves Bob on the outside of that group.

The Kota tribe voted out Dan, one of their strongest members, because they were afraid he might flip to Fang post-merge. They threw a few votes Susie's way to guard themselves against the hidden idol.

The Pool

This was an enormous week for the pool, mostly because the previous pool leaders (Mike and Paul) took a huge hit after predicting that Dan and/or Ace would win the season and/or come in second. Meanwhile, Carl pulled off an unprecedented coup in our pools by shooting from fourth place to first. That has literally never been done before. Maybe the Survivor people knew he had a birthday this week and set it up like that. But more likely, just a coincidence. He lost only 14 points on two eliminations over two sets of picks. Paul slipped from first to fifth, and I climbed from 7th to 3rd. So, lots of movement all around. That's what a double-elimination will do you you.

Looks like we might have a merge on our hands next week, leaving us with one tribe under king...Randy? This I have to see....
