DWTS: Week 5 Picks

Best Score Predictions
Tonight, the eight remaining stars will perform the Samba and the Rumba for our viewing pleasure. Since the dances are both latin, they're probably going to look pretty much the same to our untrained eyes.

Our predictions for top judge scores are:

Our picks are starting to look like stock picks-- do we go for the reliable, small gain that Kristi represents, or do we prospect on a risky proposition that will deliver big if at all? Perhaps predictably, the three people at the top of the pool are going with the sure thing, while two out of three at the bottom of the pool are looking to strike it rich. Kristi will deliver 10 potential bonus points to those who picked her, while anyone else will give the picker 42 big ones.

To watch this week:

--Priscilla seemed dangerously close to elimination last week. The judges aren't wowed any more by her advanced age, and as the other stars ratchet it up, her lack of limberness is starting to become a real issue. If she goes out this week, then Lisa will gain a 50 point bonus and threaten Dawn's spot at the top of the pool.

-- Marlee is also in danger. This is the week that Heather Mills, the "other handicapped contestant," was eliminated in season 4. Whether it's the deafness or not, Marlee is starting to look a little more awkward as some of the other stars pick up their game. If she goes this week, then Mom and Paul will each get the 50 point bonus while Dawn would take a nosedive, having predicted her to last until 2nd place. This could really shake up the standings.
