DWTS: Week 4 Picks
Best Score Predictions
Tonight, the nine stars will perform the Paso Doble and the Viennese Waltz with their partners. The Paso Doble is the "bullfighter's dance," and will probably feature a rose in a woman's teeth, a cape, and lots of strong striding with pissy faces by the male performers. The Viennese Waltz is one of the oldest and most structured of all the dances, and is marked with grace and precision.
Our predictions for top judge scores are:
Dawn: Kristi
Carl: Mario
Kim: Kristi
Lisa: Kristi
Matt: Kristi
Mom: Priscilla
Paul: Priscilla
A Kristi victory will result in 10 points apiece for everyone who picked her. Priscilla will give 21 points apiece to Mom and Paul. If this is Mario's week to shine, Carl will pick up the fat 42 point bonus.
Elimination Predictions
Here are everyone's predictions:
Dawn: Monica (not eligible)
Mom: Steve (not eligible)
Lisa: Adam
Carl: Monica (not eligible)
Matt: Steve (not eligible)
Kim: Priscilla
Paul: Penn (not eligible)
To watch this week:
--Will Priscilla do the best or the worst this week? If she does the best, Paul will get a 42 point boost. If she's eliminated this week, it means 50 points for Kim. So the rest of us are rooting for her to be somewhere in the middle.
-- Is it Marissa's turn to go this week? Every week Marissa stays in is a bad week for Lisa and Mom, and a good week for everyone else. If she lasts until about fifth or sixth place, she won't be a big deal, but that seems unlikely. Last week, she turned in a mediocre performance, got lambasted by the judges, was at the bottom of the scoring, and still managed to overtake Steve after the audience voting was tabulated.
-- Is Jason going to falter any time soon? Carl, Paul and I all picked Jason to exit within the first three weeks. His amazing footwork (given his frame) and charisma seem likely to keep him around for the long haul. This could be bad news for the three of us.
Good luck everyone!
