--Neither Dawn nor I are eligible to pick up any points on the elimination, so this is an opportunity for everyone else to make up some ground.

--This early in the pool, you really don't want to lose any of your top five. But only Kathleen, Eliza, Chet and James are safe boots for everyone-- if anyone else goes, at least one of us is getting screwed with a big 13+ point hit.

--Also, Carl noticed last week that Joel voted for Tracy, going against the Mary vote that he had seemingly engineered. What's up with that?
