Amazing Race Standings: Week 3

Standings leader Paul had a phenomenal week, which, combined with a terrible week for me, gives him a 100+ point lead. This was due to him correctly guessing the first place team (one of three people to do so), being only 1 off on the elimination (he had the sisters out in 8th place instead of ninth), and doing well on his finishing order predictions (losing only 17 points, the least of anyone).

I managed to hang onto second place, but just barely after a disastrous week in which I lost 88 points. This was mainly due to the fact that I had Marianna and Julia going to second place, which cost me a whopping 70 points alone.

Third place Dawn had the second great week in a row, losing only 32 points (second-best). This was mainly because she pegged Marianna and Julia to go out in 10th place, so she too lost only 10 points.

Fourth place Carl did fairly well by gaining a 20 point bonus for the Azaria/Hendekea pick, so his total loss of 36 points kept him in a close race for second with Dawn and I.

Kim's random picks didn't serve her very well, although her 20 point bonus meant she had a better week than I did, despite losing a whopping 69 points.
